Event description
Applying Lessons Learned from the Development of Linux and the Open Source Movement Linux history and development certainly proves how one person with a transformational idea can change the world.
As Wired magazine wrote in 2003, “He posted it on the Internet and invited other programmers to improve it. Since then, tens of thousands of them have, making Linux perhaps the single largest collaborative project in the planet's history.” Linux now serves as the primary foundation of Open Source used by Internet developers and companies today.
The event will be organized as a brief interview, followed by a Q&A session, with the objective of exploring what the we can learn from Linus’ experience starting at the University of Helsinki in the late 1980’s thru today.
