As a part of the Founders' Week, Aaltoes will be kicking off the summer's entrepreneurship program, Summer of Startups!
Summer of Startups is a program dedicated to activating the entrepreneurs within us. Instead of a regular summer job, participants get to give it a go on their own beloved idea, and try out just how far they can run with it.
The teams will be taken through a fast paced learning experience, consisting of weekly workshops, lectures, keynotes, but most of all tons of hands-on working.
The coaches giving their advice during the program are the finest Finnish and international serial entrepreneurs and VC's. Though the program is generally aimed at students and researchers the level of the teams this year is brilliant!
Come and see for yourself! The program starts with a keynote given by the Finnish star of Founders' Week: Sami Inkinen, the co-founder of Trulia, one of the largest real-estate sites in the US serving over 20 million unique monthly visitors. Program goes on with a fireside chat with Caterina Fake, founder and CEO of Pinwheel and co-founder of Hunch and Flickr. Then it's time for the teams to pitch their products and services.
Here's a sneak preview on what to expect.
